Welcome to David J. Peterson's Web Thing
Hi!
You've reached my site, which is devoted to (some of) the languages I've created. These languages were created for the purposes of fun, so I hope you have fun rifling through them.
If you're not a new visitor, you will have noticed that I've moved from Free.fr to Conlang.org. Man, what a difference! I had no idea how many problems I considered normal were actually problems! If you're a conlanger and interested in having a yoursite.conlang.org url, you should join the Language Creation Society! For more info, ask me, or go here.
Brand new visitors are probably here because they've heard about my work on HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones. While there isn't a Dothraki section of this website, I have started a Dothraki language blog which you can find at Dothraki.com. If you'd like to see examples of some of the work I've done in the past, though, I'd recommend looking at this page, this page and this page (and go to this page if you can't stand the colors on my site).
I'm happy to announce that the winner of the 2011 Smiley Award is Matt Pearson's Okuna. You can read my full write-up here.
If you haven't been here recently, why not check out the Kamakawi Word of the Day? It's a blog that features a new Kamakawi word everyday. How 'bout that?
